Loretta Mykytyshyn

I grew up in the Maritimes and completed my teaching degree at the University of Alberta. Since then, I have focused my professional growth on early literacy, with an emphasis on the science of reading and best practices for young learners.

My husband and I have two wonderful children, and as a family we enjoy skiing and spending time outdoors whenever possible. We are members of St. Mary’s Parish, where I often have the joy of reconnecting with many of my former students.

I feel truly blessed to be entrusted with the care of our beautiful Kinders this year and look forward to becoming part of the wider Maryview community. I am confident we will have a joyful, enriching year of learning and growth together.
