Mrs. Courtney Jacobs

Hi! My name is Courtney Jacobs and I am the Grade One teacher here at Maryview school.

I graduated from the University of Alberta as an Elementary Generalist with a minor in Educational Psychology. I am currently taking my Master’s in Education specializing in Curriculum and Pedagogy.

I have been teaching Grade 1 for 11 of my 14 years at Maryview and absolutely love watching my students grow into readers and writers as we journey through First Grade together!

When I am not at school I enjoy time with my husband, 2 children and our puppy. We love spending time relaxing at our cabin on the lake and exploring in the mountains together.
